  • Espot History

Espot was inaugurated in 1967. It is a mountain and ski resort located in a privileged and unique area in the Pyrenees. It is the only resort next to a National Park: Aigüestortes and Sant Maurici National Park. The resort has more than 20 km for skiing and 1,000 vertical meters.

Its slopes are characterized by the pine forests and the beautiful views surrounding the village, with mountains over 3,000 meters. Thanks to this incredible landscape skiers feel in a natural alpine atmosphere. Espot is a resort known by the quality of its snow.

On the other hand, Espot has three slopes approved for holding international competitions. Moreover, the resort offers an extensive area designed for beginners, which is found at an altitude of 2,000 m. Espot also owns a leisure park, which allows families to spend a great time with the children.

The village of Espot, just 2 km away from the resort, is a lovely Pyrenean village. It combines its modern hotels and shops with its traditional buildings and natural settings. It is also the gateway to the National Park.

Espot is a family resort, ideal for those people seeking new experiences in the mountains and looking for the warmth of a typical alpine village.
