The Medical Centre of Espot is located at an altitude of 2000 m. It has the technical and human resources required to attend the users of the resort.
It has capacity to deal with mass emergencies that may occur during the practice of winter sports and medical disorders in general. The team consists of one doctor and one nurse. They are specialized in emergency care, politrauma and sports traumatology.
The centre has the means to look after serious accidents with monitoring, oxygen, defibrillator, airway protection and appropriate medication, etc. If you need to be referred to a hospital, the medical centre collaborates with the insurer of the ski resorts (Racc) or with the public health system (SEM in its initials in Catalan) to coordinate transport, ambulance among others.
