The Espot Esquí resort will debut a new 140-metre tubbing track this winter season 2022-2023. 

The Espot ski resort, in the Pyrenees, dresses up to receive 9 days of competitions.

Espot hosts from January 20 to 29 the FIS Para Alpine Ski 2023 World Championships, a competition in which 87 athletes from 26 countries will participate.

Italy's Chiara Mazzel (Vision Impaired), Sweden's Eva Aarsjoe (Women Standing) and Germany's Anna-Lenna Forster (Women Sitting) topped the podiums in the women's category. In the men's category, the winners were Austria's Johannes Aigner (Vision Impaired), France's Arthur Bauchet (Men Standing) and Norway's Jesper Pedersen (Men Sitting)

The Italian Chiara Mazzel (Vision Impaired), the German Anna-Maria Rieder (Women Standing) and the Dutch Barbara Van Bergen (Women Sitting) head the podiums in the women's category. In the men's category, the winners were the Austrians Johannes Aigner (Vision Impaired) and Markus Salcher (Men Standing), and the Norwegian Jesper Pedersen (Men Sitting)

The ski resort of Espot hosted today the FIS Para Alpine Ski 2023 Giant Slalom test, a competition in which the two Spanish athletes registered for the world championships made their debut

Boí Taüll, Espot and Port Ainé accumulate snow thicknesses of up to 130 cm, 95 cm and 75 cm respectively and La Molina will open all its sectors
